The winner of the Holmboe Prize receives the award for his or hers inspiring and motivating teaching methods in mathematics at a primary or high school in Norway.
About The Holmboe Prize
The Holmboe Prize is a national teaching award that honors one or more mathematics teachers for outstanding teaching in primary or high school education. Nordtun presents the award on behalf of the Norwegian Mathematics Council. The prize is named after Bernt Michael Holmboe, who was Niels Henrik Abels mathematics teacher.
